This is my visual component with finalized audio.
Received some feedback on the content and layout of my poster, here is the update.

My original technical poster was made with an outdated template from SIGGRAPH 2021, so this new one is based off of the template from 2024.

2024 SIGGRAPH template.

2021 SIGGRAPH template.
The update is going to be printed and mounted this week for the upcoming final presentations on Friday.
Another visual component update with final animation and almost finalized narration.
Still need to finish recording narration and updating final animation.
Updates from my animators on Billy’s pose test.
Final animation will be done by this Friday and I will edit both together in my final visual component with textures, wireframe on textures, and rig controls.
I haven’t been very on top of my thesis updates this past month, but I’m going to start getting to it now. I have made some aesthetic changes based on the advice from my committee.
Other updates include new animators (which reflect in the rolling credits at the end of the video) and more progress on my written component. Animation is intended to be completed or almost completed by next Friday, 10/24.
Various updates have been made to the rig as well. No more double transformations on the eye shapes and eyebrows, improved skin weights and more intuitive controls for eye shapes.
May 23rd were thesis presentations for MA and MFA students. This is what I had to show up until that point.
There is still much to do in terms of my visual component, but all critique from my committee will be implemented in the coming months.
My animator gave me a first pass of the pose test for Billy. The goal is to get it textured and rendered for the final visual component.
